Terms of use

The licence

Fikra is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add what is particular to Fikra. Where the two disagree, Apple's agreement applies.

What is free

Without a subscription, Fikra gives you one card a day and three Shorts a day. The app shows what each tier includes before you subscribe.

Fikra Plus

Fikra Plus opens all three cards a day, seven Shorts a day, paths and practice. It is sold and billed by Apple, yearly or monthly, at the price the App Store shows you before you confirm.

Renewal and cancelling

A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple account settings. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase, and again at each renewal. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the period you have paid for stays open until it ends.

Free trials

An eligible Apple account can start Fikra Plus with a free trial: 7 days on the yearly plan and 3 days on the monthly plan. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged. If you allow notifications, Fikra reminds you before the charge. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The cards

Cards explain general-knowledge ideas in plain words. They are written with care and can still be wrong or incomplete. They are not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Links to read more open sites Fikra does not control.

Using Fikra

Fikra is for your personal use. You may share a card with the share button. You may not copy the cards, recordings, figures or artwork in bulk, resell them, or use them to train other products.

Changes

Fikra may change these terms. The date at the top of this page says when they last changed.
